About 3D Mieks
I’m Youssef, the designer, maker, and creator behind 3D Mieks.
I started 3D Mieks to share what happens when digital design meets modern manufacturing. What began with 3D printing has grown into a broader maker platform covering CAD, laser cutting and engraving, CNC machining, 3D scanning, photography, video, and emerging creative technology.
Using AutoDesk Fusion and a growing collection of maker tools, I design functional products, modular systems, home accessories, lighting, storage solutions, and projects that solve real problems. Every idea moves through the full process in my Saskatoon studio, from the first sketch and digital model to prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and the finished product.
My work includes original collections such as LumaShapes, a customizable modular lighting system, along with hundreds of downloadable models and practical designs shared with the maker community. I focus on products that are useful, customizable, easy to manufacture, and designed with real-world use in mind.
Content is a major part of 3D Mieks. With more than 15 years of photography and video experience, I share the entire creation process through product demonstrations, tutorials, behind-the-scenes development, ASMR builds, and short-form videos. My projects have reached millions of people across social platforms and helped build a growing community interested in design, technology, and making.
I also work with maker and technology brands to create custom projects, product demonstrations, sponsored content, photography, video, and campaign assets. Because I handle design, manufacturing, and content production, I can take a project from the initial idea to a finished physical product and complete visual campaign.
3D Mieks is built around one simple goal: turning digital ideas into physical products and showing what today’s maker tools can create.
